Leeds v Blackpool (away) 8/11/14

[ So what are they saying about us? ]

LEEDS v BLACKPOOL

Saturday 8th November 3.00 pm

PRE MATCH

When Leeds travelled to Blackpool last Christmas, the two sides were firmly in the race for promotion, yet almost 12 months on tomorrow sees them battle it out in a relegation six-pointer.

With the weakness of the opponents tomorrow, anything but three points will be a disaster, and I am hugely confident that the eight-match winless run will come to a resounding end.
....................................

we are playing a team who have nothing to lose because they are favourites for relegation, so we need to win the game. We are at home and anything but a win is simply not good enough.
........................................

4-0 against these mugs. This has gotta be 3pts against the worse team in the league by a mile. Bogpool should be in the non league.
...................................

Blackpool are really poor, it will be a miracle if they stay up and I think we will hammer them and run out easy winners. They scraped a draw away at Fulham last night but I think that's not likely to happen against us.
...............................

Blackpool the laughing stock of English football these past few months just start playing well days before they play us .... typical
......................................

Head coach Neil Redfearn:

Obviously they have changed their manager, they have brought four or five players in, they are playing a bit differently and to go and put themselves 2-0 up at Fulham is no mean feat.

And then they went and got a point with ten men.

They’re decent. They’re not bad and when I look at their squad they’ve got decent players.

Lee Clark has brought one or two better players in and they’ve got pace in the side so it’s going to be a tough game for us.

It’s going to be a tough game but these are the games - particularly at home - that we have got to start winning.”
